Brent Sorenson, Ph.D., CEO
Brent has served as CEO of the Cooperative since its inception. He joined the Northern Great Plains Inc. (NGP) in March of 1999 where he served as Vice President for Agriculture and Natural Resources until joining FarmConnect on a permanent basis on January 1, 2002. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Agronomy and Plant Genetics from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Science degree in Agronomy with an emphasis in weed science from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. Dr. Sorenson also holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Agronomy and Plant Genetics with an emphasis in weed science from the University of Minnesota.
